GIRL SCOUTS

DAISY GIRL SCOUT PROGRAMS

I Speak for the Trees
This program, based on Dr. Seuss' classic story The Lorax, focuses on how each girl can make the world a better place. Scouts will learn their impact on the environment, what they need versus what they want, and how practicing the 3R's can help them be good Earth protectors. Fulfills Rosie petal requirements.

Our Earth Needs YOU!
Our Earth provides everything we need to live and so we need to use those resources wisely. Scouts will discover how we harm the environment through pollution, over-consumption and waste generation. Through interactive discussion, Scouts will consider ways to reduce these stresses, with an emphasis on reducing, reusing and recycling. Fulfills Clover petal requirement.
