NATURAL HISTORY COLLECTION
View mounts of wildlife native to the Fox River Valley. The collection includes common species, such as raccoon, opossum, squirrel, skunk and muskrat. In addition, the collection includes more secretive and uncommon species, such as owl, fox, coyote and certain species of hawks. We even have a black bear, prevalent in this area before European settlement.
There are many more wildlife specimens to view in our collection, most living in our diverse ecosystem of prairie, woodland and wetland.
