Drawing Adventures
11 am - 12 pm; $10 per person
Elgin Public Museum of Natural History & Anthropology presents Drawing Adventures, a fun new monthly program for aspiring artists. Students will learn basic drawing skills while completing drawings of interesting animals and natural subjects. For Janaury's drawing class, kids will draw the bear in the Animal Adaptations wing. $10 per person includes all needed supplies. These lessons are for children 1st grade and older, so bring the whole family!
Advance registration is required; call the museum at 847-741-6655 to reserve your space. Maximum of 20
students per session.

Bison Feeding in Lords Park
7 am - 8:30 am; $5/Adult, $2/Child, Members Free
Join us for an up close and personal look at the bison, deer and elk at the Lords Park Zoo. Meet at the Museum for a short introduction after which we head for the zoo to assist the zookeeper in feeding these magnificent creatures. Registration required. Space is limited to 12 people so please register early!
